Pickleball Code of Conduct Mississauga

At Play Pickleball Club in Mississauga, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all players, guests, and officials. Our Code of Conduct outlines the expectations we have for everyone who participates in our community. By following these guidelines, we can ensure that every member enjoys the game of pickleball in a positive and supportive setting.

1. Respect for Others

• Treat all members, guests, and officials with courtesy and respect.
• Avoid behavior that is intimidating, offensive, or disrespectful.

2. Fair Play

• Follow the official pickleball rules and encourage others to do the same.
• Win or lose, maintain good sportsmanship and a positive attitude.

3. Inclusive Atmosphere

• Welcome players of all backgrounds, ages, genders, and skill levels.
• Avoid discriminatory language or behavior of any kind.

4. Safety First

• Keep the court and surroundings safe for everyone.
• Report unsafe conditions or injuries to club officials immediately.

5. Equipment & Facility Care

• Use club equipment responsibly and treat our facilities with respect.
• Notify staff of any damage or required maintenance.

6. Honesty & Integrity

• Play honestly and fairly at all times.
• Report any cheating or rule violations to club officials.

7. Positive Communication

• Speak constructively and respectfully with fellow members.
• Resolve conflicts peacefully and, if needed, with staff support.

8. Club Policies

• Follow all rules and policies regarding membership, bookings, and events.
• Respect staff and administrative decisions.

9. Responsibility for Guests

• Ensure your guests understand and follow this Code of Conduct.
• Members are accountable for their guests’ behavior on-site.

10. Community Engagement

• Participate in club events and help grow our pickleball community.
• Foster friendships, inclusivity, and shared enthusiasm for the sport.

Violations of the Code of Conduct may lead to disciplinary action, including warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent expulsion, based on the severity and frequency of the offence.
